This dress is brand new, never altered. I purchased this dress and shortly after found a long sleeve dress that I preferred. I did buy additional lace appliqués from this designer that is an exact match to this dress in attempt to have sleeves made. If you would like to add sleeves as well, I still have the appliqués (they are not attached to the dress as the dress has never been altered).
