The Dress

It has pockets! This is a classic satin Stella York dress turned into a more modest version with lace cap sleeves, and lace that turns the sweetheart neckline into a straight neckline. The lace is an ivory abstract corded design from Mood Fabrics, sits in a V at the back and comes down to the waistline in the back. The lace with eyelash edges made me feel full of character in this elegant gown. Buttons feature down the full length of the center back of the dress.
The simple hook and eye bustle lifts the train while retaining the view of the buttons down the back of the dress. Note: One of the fabric hooks will need to be repaired.
Dry cleaning notes: The dry cleaners were unable to completely get rid of a couple of smudges on the edge of the train. Circled in the last photo.
