Elegant Strapless Mikado Wedding Dress with Leg Slit and Plunging Neckline

Exclusive Ines Di Santo design for a Corona Del Mar, CA boutique called A White Dress; this mikado silk gown features a high slit exposing a gorgeous mini-lace underskirt, all falling beneath a unique, structured, strapless and plunging neckline. Buttons on the back line all the way down the train.

Very flattering fit almost corset-like on top, hitting at the smallest part of the waist with a voluminous A-line skirt. I’m a small A-cup and was worried about a strapless dress falling down on me, but this was so secure and comfortable to wear all night.

Includes the Tony Federici, Classic cathedral veil (as pictured).

Color: Off White (Not ivory/yellowish).

Condition: I wore this dress for my wedding in August 2023 in Laguna Beach, CA. Both the dress and veil were professionally dry cleaned (twice) and packaged immediately after wear.

I hope you love this dress as much as I did! It was a worldly beautiful day-of and showed SO well in photos.

Alterations

Alterations: Professionally altered by A White Dress seamstress specializing in designer bridal gowns. Size 2 and made slightly smaller around the rib cage plus bra padding (can be easily removed). The bottom hem was altered for 5-inch platforms (I’m ~5’ 2”). Added bustle and two discreet buttons to lift the train in the back for after ceremony. Button to make the slit more conservative and hide the lace underskirt (as pictured) with the option to unbutton as well. Room to be taken in our out.
