The Dress

Absolutely stunning Galia Lahav ‘Gia’ couture wedding dress which is part of the Le Secret Royal Part II collection. Bought from Browns Bride in London for £8,000

Sheer strapless corset dress in ivory, with a pleated silk tulle skirt adorned by beaded and crystal encrusted dramatic appliques.

The detail of the lace and beading is incredible. I had a few additional applique flowers from Galia Lahav sewn on the train of the dress. I also had an extra layer of sheer ivory organza lining in the skirt.

I also had detachable tulle sleeves made just to cover my shoulders for the ceremony. These are easy to detach.

The dress was worn once for my wedding day and is in immaculate condition. It has been professionally dry cleaned by wedding dress specialists Terrington Burchett and packaged in their acid free preservation box.

The dress has been made so it can be bustled up if preferred for dancing.

I am 5 foot 2 and wore 3.7 inch heels. The dress was made to my size which is a size 8 but had a custom cup in DDD to accommodate my bust. My measurements at the time of my wedding are as follows: 65cm waist, 84cm hips, 86cm bust (DDD cup)

I absolutely LOVED my wedding dress and really hope that another bride will be as happy and look as amazing as I did. The dress is timeless and just so beautiful.
