Personal Description:
I went on a hunt for a dress with the following criteria:
- Easy/comfortable to wear, especially for dancing.
- Does not show sweat.
- Does not require adjustment while wearing.
- Classic lines that won't look dated in 10+ years.
- Pockets.
- Easy to pack and travel.

This dress checked every box and more. Most importantly, I felt like a million bucks and was comfortable for the whole event. The only alterations I had to the dress were added bra cups (easily removable) for additional lift and support and a bustle, otherwise, the dress is the exact measurements as it was made. I am five foot ten and wore my dress with three-inch heels. It was the perfect length and did not require hemming. The best part about this dress (I'm talking to you, summer brides), is that it does require any shapewear or special layers to make it work. I just wore a pair of comfortable beige underwear which was perfect considering our day was hot and humid. I transported it to our destination in a vacuum bag so that it was more compact, and it traveled without complication and looked perfect upon taking it out and hanging it up. This would be a great dress to take on a plane/road trip for a destination wedding or elopement.

One of the bustle loops did disconnect as they were quite delicately installed, but this would be a very simple and inexpensive adjustment to make yourself, or for a seamstress (I asked my local gal and she said she could do it for $15). I live in a rural community with no dry cleaner, so the dress comes as is, but is in nearly perfect shape. There is some light wear on the bottom of the hem which would be solved with a clean, but the skirt, bodice, and overlay are in perfect condition. If you are only interested in the dress if it has been cleaned, I would be willing to send it off, I would just want to have a confirmed buyer before doing so. This dress is timeless, comfortable and so beautiful. I would love to hold on to it forever, but chances are it will just sit in my closet for a lifetime and I would hate for such a stunning garment to go unused.
