The Dress

The Hansen wedding gown by Dan Jones is made of heavy weight silk crepe and features intricately hand cut corded French lace applique at the bodice and center back. With clean lines that frame the silhouette and a thigh high split, the Hansen gown is sexy yet chic -perfect for the modern bride who wants the day to do the talking!

Gown was taken in to a size 8. I am 168cm tall and wore 10cm heels on the day.

The fabric is a heavy weight silk crepe, it’s incredibly light and with an invisible side zip, it’s an effortless wear. It was the perfect dress from day to night. It has a wedding bustle clip that has been attached on the inside and not visible, so the train can be easily lifted and secured for dancing at your reception. The split has also been fastened at the mid thigh to ensure the gown doesn’t splay open when getting in out of cars or sitting down.

The gown has been professionally cleaned by the best in the business. I have also purchased a preservation bag that is made from acid free imported fabric and lined with acid free tissue paper to prevent any discolouration from occurring.

The veil is also included. This veil was absolutely perfect for the dress and looked just amazing in the photos.

I hope you love the dress as much as I do! Sad to be letting it go, but it deserves to see the light of day again!
