The Dress

Halfpenny simple slip satin skirt. The Ava skirt has a really lovely shape, it's not too super tight and flares outwards nicely towards the bottom. I found It really lovely to wear. It has a slight subtle train but nothing dramatic. It's been dry cleaned but as you can see it still has small markings on the bottom of the skirt. I did a gentle dry clean as I was being extra careful about preserving the fabric, but you could definitely try something stronger if you wanted to get it closer to perfect, but honestly it's not noticeable when you're wearing it at all. It has a simple zip fastening and it has a loop on the inside of the back of the seam and a ribbon so you can tie it up/ loop it slightly for evening dancing if you want to. I'm a UK size 8-10. Waist 27" and I'm 5'7" without shoes, but obviously you could get it altered to your size. Please note the label of the skirt says it's a size 2, am not a size 2! This is the Halfpenny equivalent of a 10, I would say I'm a pretty true size 10 but in high street brands I'm always either an 8 or a 10. If you're London based you're very welcome to try it on.
