The Dress

Beautiful Hayley Paige Peyton Dress, worn once at my wedding April 2017. A stunning ballgown with slit in the front. The colour is called ‘Oyster Blush’ and has a subtle blush hue. Purchased from Eternal Bridal in Melbourne. It was professionally dry cleaned afterwards and stored away in a preserving box by the dry cleaners. I've now had my family - I've got 2 boys, so no one to pass this down to! Therefore, I want it to find a new home and get to shine on another bride.

The dress has a couple of small tears in the fabric from my wedding day, as seen in the photos. 2 of them are on the innermost layer and cannot be seen due to the number of beautiful layers this dress has. One of them doesn't actually go through the entire layer. There is also a tiny one on one of the outer layers of silk. I'm sure this could easily be repaired due to its tiny size, but could also be left and would never be noticed.

I am (and was) a standard Australian size 8.

Alterations

The dress had minor alterations by Jaqui Alterations as recommended by Eternal Bridal. Jacqui re-boned the dress to be of a higher standard that what it was made with and added cups and buttons to bustle.
