The Dress

A stunning dress from Oscar de la Renta.

This is Look 1 from the Spring 2022 collection is a quintessential, unmistakable Oscar gown. The bodice has a structured corset, with multiple hook eye closures down the back (covered by a zipped) and a soft sweetheart neckline. The fit to flare skirt hugs definitely shows off your shape! The fabric of the dress is an embroidered 3D floral lace, with hand sown flowers all over. The skirt has a chapel length train. It is truly a showstopper!

I purchased this directly through Oscar de la Renta in London in Summer 2023, and it has been altered. I typically am between a UK Sz 6/8, 172 cm tall, and have a 32DD bust.

The dress has been dry cleaned by Jeeves of Belgravia. There are a few tears in the bottom layer of the netting, but it is not visible when wearing / could be easily altered. Additionally, slight fraying at the very bottom of the hem, but could easily be altered for wear.

The dress had been hemmed, taken in at the waist and hip, and had pads added to the corset for a more snug fit.
