The Dress
This is the Maggie Soterro "Elka Comfortable Mermaid Flare" dress in color "Ivory over blush". I am still getting compliments on this dress even months after our wedding! The tulle train is really lightweight and easy to bustle. The part that sold me was the lace floral detail all over the bodice and train - it really pops in person and in photos with the blush underskirt. I accessorized it with a fur shawl and white boots for a December wedding in southern Utah, but it would be beautiful for any season! From all of the reception dancing there are a few tears in the top layer of tulle on the train only (none on the front) - these could easily be sewn and I don't think they'd show given how many layers there are on this dress.
Alterations
The dress was hemmed to fit - I'm 5' tall, but wore 2 inch heeled boots. The bodice was also let out a few centimeters to fit. We also added clear buttons and ribbon so the train can be easily bustled.
