The Dress

***Original dress purchased was Mark Lesley - 7227***
The dress was purchased and then customised by a wedding dress designer/seamstress - to have a tulle overskirt attached to the waist, with lace appliqués added to the hem.

Silhouette: Sheath
Fabric: Soft Crepe and Beaded Lace Applique with tulle overskirt
Neckline: Bateau Illusion with Lace Detailing
Bodice: Sweetheart
Sleeves: Bracelet Length
Back Fastening: Pearl Buttons and Stretch Loops
Train detail: Tulle overskirt with lace trim added to the dress, to give the illusion of a train.
Colour: Ivory and nude

Last x2 catalogue style photos show the dress when originally bought, prior to the overskirt being added.

I am 5ft7 (170cm) and wore 8cm wedge heels on my wedding day. The front of the dress literally skimmed the floor and the newly added tulle overskirt hem was designed to be slightly longer, but still able to walk in.

Please note - due to the awkward placement of the dress labels, these were cut out on the big day so are no longer on the dress. It is a UK STREET SIZE - 12, so I believe this would make it around a UK Wedding Dress Label Size - 16.

- No alterations to dress bodice seams at all - fit is the same as when bought - Street UK size 12
- New tulle overskirt added to dress, with some extra appliqué added to stomach area where it was attached to the bodice of the original dress.
- Appliqué added to hem of tulle overskirt
