The Dress

Zayla by Love and Liberty, 2024. This stunning 'two in one' dress was bought and worn once for our wedding in April. It has been dry cleaned and is in excellent condition. Fully details at the bottom of this description.

A unique dress which can transform during the big day with the addition of stylish sheer sleeves and the removal of the dramatic overskirt. This was perfect for a more formal ceremony before a more "slinky" look for the evening. The sleeves were quickly added with four easy and discrete poppers. The overskirt was secured with a button and could be hooked onto the base dress with four invisible hooks and eyes.

The detailing on the dress is sensational and was incredibly comfortable with the crepe skirt giving plenty of stretch which was perfect for the dancefloor. The train has an invisible but strong ribbon bustle to 'tidy' away some of the train later in the evening.

The front is fully lined with a plunge neckline and some netting to the navel. The dress is backless with an elegant V of sheer beaded netting. The overskirt has beautiful applique and the under dress has a really flattering beading around the hips.

Nine days before the wedding, my Dad was rushed to hospital and was diagnosed with brain cancer. I will be using the proceeds of sale to donate to the hospital which has cared for him and enabled him to walk me down the aisle.

- Size 8 (Bust - 90cm, waist - 68cm, hips - 96 cm). My hips measured more than 96 cm, but fitted comfortably and had some stretch.

Alterations

The dress was shortened to fit me - 5'4 with 4'' heels.
