The Dress

I wore this dress from Reem Acra's Celebration Collection for my wedding in March 2023. It is the most stunning, textured ballgown with a structured, strapless bodice and full skirt. The textured brocade mikado fabric is truly so beautiful, making the dress the perfect mix of unique while still being a timeless style. The color is labeled as ivory, but does not have any yellow effect - it's the perfect wedding white!

The dress is in nearly perfect condition and has been professionally cleaned. There is some minor thread pulling around the bottom of the inner lining (completely unnoticeable when wearing the dress) from walking over cobblestone and wooden floors for 6 hours (normal wear you'd find on any wedding gown). There is no damage, pulled threads, staining, or fraying anywhere on the outside of the dress.

I purchased the dress from Warren Barron Bridal in Dallas, TX in late March 2022 for $7,500. Professional alterations at Warren Barron were an additional $1,500.

Alterations

The dress was professionally tailored at Warren Barron Bridal. The length was tailored to graze the ground for someone who is 5'6" with shoes. For reference, I am 5'3" without shoes and wore Alexandre Birman Clarita Block 90 heels. The only other alterations made were a few adjustments at the bust and waist to ensure a perfect fit.
