The Dress

A beautiful, timeless wedding dress that makes you feel truly amazing on your special day. The material is soft and flattering, and the corset cinches you in, making you feel incredible. The buttons along the back and the long train define this dress. It also has pockets, which came in very handy on the wedding day!

The dress was only worn for the ceremony, photos, and formalities. There is slight discolouration under the armpits and at the very ends of the train where it dragged on the floor. These are extremely hard to see, though - I have done my best to capture these very minor flaws or signs of wear in the images. It has been professionally dry-cleaned by a specialist, and they did an excellent job.

Website description: This exquisite Italian Cady gown features a striking off-the-shoulder cuff and a wide A-line skirt which flares from the waist, flowing into a dramatic train. The boned canvas corset cinches in the waist whilst the cuff sits just below the décolletage, sensuously drawing the eye to the shoulders and enhancing the hourglass silhouette. The luxurious Italian Cady skirt is layered over a delicate organza and soft net to hold the full silhouette, whilst keeping the design soft and sumptuous. The frilled net petticoats maintain the drama of the full flare in the hem. Covered buttons and rouleaux loops run the length of the central back. The design is completed by pockets concealed in the side seams that give the look a contemporary edge.

Alterations

There were slight alterations made to the dress and length. I'm a size 10 and 5'7" (my measurements are above), and it fit me perfectly - I wore flats on my wedding day. It can be altered further to fit a smaller or shorter size. A wrist ring was added to the dress so the train can be worn on the wrist to prevent it from dragging on the floor.
