The Dress

Sassi Holford bridal strapless a line wedding sample dress size 10 ivory. Part of the love conquers all 2022 range.

Please note this is a sample sale dress so it hasn’t been worn for a wedding but it has been tried on in the store. No alterations have been made. Bought from LOVE bridal boutique in Antrincham, Manchester.

It is listed as a size 10/12 however I am a size 8 and it wasn’t far off fitting me so I’d say best fit a size 10. Ivory in colour. Thick fabric with a slit up the front side. Pleated detail on the bodice and skirt. Has pockets. There is an underskirt as shown in the photos and this has a small makeup mark on as circled in the photo. Button down back with satin buttons. There are two small pink marks on the back by two of the buttons as shown but these aren’t noticeable when the buttons are done up and the skirt sits over these lower buttons so they’re less on show. Very very minor slight potential pull on the front under the bodice as shown in photo. I’ve tried to show any minor imperfections I can see. I had planned to have the underskirt taken up/basically removed and a small stitch but in the slit as I preferred it but you can see in one of the photos from the Sassi Holford website that you can also wear it fully down as an underskirt. There is an inside hook and eye fastening as well as the buttons on the outside. Boning in the inside of the front of the bodice.

I was told dry cleaning would be around £200 if you wanted it done but if you don’t plan on showing the underskirt it probably isn’t worth it as it’s pretty pristine for a sample. The store said it hadn’t been in for long.

The RRP of this dress is £3430. I’m selling as I changed my mind and I’ve now bought another dress so I’m looking to make my money back on this one to try and claw back money I do not have!
