The Dress

Stretch Cady off the shoulder gown with extended tulle overlay. Squared neckline accented by draped high tulle, long sleeves lightly bound to narrow satin ribbon straps. Center back external zipper and soft internal bustier with grosgrain waistband belt and three hook positions for support.

I wore this dress from the ceremony to the first dance, and then changed into a different dress before sitting for dinner.

I got so many compliments from friends and older relatives as well! The stretch cady was really comfortable yet luxurious, and the tulle overlay gave a romantic/dreamy vibe. I got married in a shady outdoor area in May so the weather (~70°F and sunny) was perfect for this dress! It kept me warm during the colder moments of the day, and I never felt hot in it.

Purchased on Net-A-Porter (https://www.net-a-porter.com/en-us/shop/product/38063312419396743) and will be shipped in Net-A-Porter garment bag and box.

Flaws:
Snags in the tulle overlay on belly (see photo). The largest hole on the right is approx. ½ cm in diameter.
I don't think it's super noticeable if you're not looking for it and would likely be covered by a bouquet, but it is visible up close.

Alterations

Altered at Shopboy in Tribeca
Bottom front hemmed (train untouched). I am just under 5'3" and wore 4" heels.
Straps shortened slightly in order to stay in place
Sleeves shortened slightly so that cady silk stops just before wedding ring and tulle lays over ring
Sleeves taken in slightly (still a loose fit)
Wrist loop added under train
