Leah Da Gloria DREW Dress (New 2024 – Couture VIII Collection)

This Dress is an absolute stunner, and it was the perfect addition to my Old Hollywood wedding—It’s hard for me to part ways with it, but I would love for it to get a second life, rather than sit in a box and hope my daughter wants it one day!

Custom Made 2024, Fully Hand Beaded, all pearls. Purchased in Los Angeles, CA.

The mid-section is a super flattering corset—fit & flare at the bottom. Scoop low back. A true square neck (and perfectly hides the little arm chunks near the arm pit, if you know you know).

Comes with the matching Leah Da Gloria DREW veil.

ALTERATIONS:
I added a lining to the bottom half of the dress since it was a bit too sheer without it. I also added a Wrist Strap to carry the dress, instead of bustling (It also has two buttons in the back with the ability for a bustle). This dress is HEAVY, but it was truly comfortable, and I wore it all night. I also added padding in the bust area, which can also be removed if needed. The lining can also be removed if you prefer that more sheer look on the sides of the hips.

CONIDITION:
It’s currently being dry-cleaned and completely restored . It wasn’t missing any beads towards the top, but did loose some towards the bottom. All beads are currently being re-sewn on by a recommended tailor in the area. By the end of it, the dress will look brand new.

SIZING:
Size wise, I am 5’3”, and generally wear a size 4. However, the dress is super form fitting and ended up sizing up to a Bridal size 6. The dress had minor alterations to fit my height, and a bit around the arms. I wore 3.7 inch heels, and switched into 4 inch platform sandals for the rest of the night, and both looked great.

COLOR:
The color is slightly off from a white-- but slightly lighter than a true ivory—Not too warm and not too cool.
