The Dress

Essence of Australia dress bought from Eleganza sposa in Glasgow in 2023.

The dress is unaltered in length, waist or bust. Only alterations made were a shoulder lift, fabric was not cut and this can be undone. I also had more supportive cups added which are held in by 3 little stitches and apparently are very easy to take in and out….we done it 4 times. 😂

I am 36DD bust, size 16 on the bottom and 5 foot 8 inches tall. I wore the dress with converse high tops.

The dress is SO lovely, too lovely to be packed away in a box for the rest of its life and is surprisingly flattering, I didn’t think the mermaid style would be for me. It has been dry cleaned and restored to an immaculate condition.

Alterations

Shoulder lift which can be undone as the fabric was not cut.
