Gorgeous 'Carlee' dress from Justin Alexander purchased from Miss Bella Bridal - skirt is lightweight and easy to move in despite having a ‘chapel’ length train (also has bustle for when it’s time to dance!). Stunning lace detail and in perfect condition. I know it’s common for people to tell a bride she looks great but really I had so many people compliment this dress (even after the wedding) and it was so beautiful to wear. Would love for it to get a second chance in the spotlight! Professionally altered - see details below.
Alterations
I was measured in-store and landed between a size 8 and a size 10. I bought the size 10 and had them take the bodice in to fit tighter around my chest (B cup) and torso. I guess it’s a size 9 now. Also had a bustle added, hem taken up and split shortened slightly. I’m 169cm tall and wore 6.5cm (2.5”) heels. Sleeves are detachable and can have button moved to sit more loosely - I had them sit quite firmly around my arms as that’s the look I wanted.
