The Dress

Beautiful boho dress. I bought the dress as a sample dress from Atelier Lawenda in 2023 and it was in perfect condition!

I got SO many compliments on the dress as it really is beautiful. The sleeves add an ethereal element and it was around 18 degrees on the day and I didn't feel hot at all! The train on the dress is absolutely stunning and definitely has the wow factor.

I have had the dress dry cleaned but there are marks on the inside of the lining and a slight discolouration at the bottom of the hem, there are two very tiny holes in the tulle right at the bottom of the hem, but you would struggle to find them even when searching (see the video for an idea and I can send more photos if you DM me). But these are not something you would notice when the dress is on. The front of the dress and the sleeves etc are all in perfect condition still.

Alterations

The hem has been taken up (I am 5ft 4/5 and was wearing heels)

I added a criss cross detail to the back of the dress to make it more secure fitting, but these could easily be removed.

There is a bustle button added to the dress, but this could also be removed

The dress was taken in a small amount on the shoulders and around the waist / back area, but the seamstress left an allowance so it could be taken back out again

Bust cups were added to the inside of the lining, but could also be removed
