The Dress

I fell in love with this long sleeved ballgown at an off-the-rack bridal store in West Michigan and purchased it the same day! I measure 42.5" in the bust, 31" in the waist, and 45" in the hips, and although this dress is a bit large on me, I had planned to get it altered to fit better. I really love that this dress has great support and coverage in the bust area, which is important to me since I wear a bra size of 32G. (But it's still got the plunge neckline, which makes it not overly modest!) I also really love the sleeves on this dress- They are absolutely GORGEOUS with the pearls/crystals/beading. The sleeves and overall look of this dress have a somewhat vintagey feel, which I also really, really love!

I ended up deciding that this dress wasn't my dream dress, which was mainly due to the tulle skirt. Tulle is just not really my favorite style of skirt on wedding dresses, and although I love the overall look and vibe of this dress, I just couldn't get over the fact that the skirt was fully tulle, which is not what I had envisioned for myself. I ended up finding another (very similar) dress that had a different skirt fabric, which I will be wearing instead.

This dress is NEW WITH TAGS, and has never been altered. The only flaw is a tiny hole in the mesh in the back of the dress, as shown in the photos. This was there when I purchased the dress, and I was told that when I had the dress altered, the seamstress could just replace the mesh on the back. Other than that, this dress is in perfect condition and has never been worn (besides being tried on at the store).
