The Dress

I am selling my Morilee Maribella wedding dress. It is a classic ball gown style with a v-neck bodice and sheer crystal beaded back with beaded belt on a satin skirt.

The dress also has pockets, an underskirt with netting to make it nice and swooshy and a loop within the underskirt so that the train can be lifted off the floor for the first dance or walking about etc.

I absolutely loved this dress - it is a classic style which I feel will never go out of fashion. I felt like a princess in it all day and received many compliments.

The back of the dress is fastened with buttons which run all the way down the back of the dress and to the bottom of the train. As it is an A-line dress it is really flattering as the top part (bodice) of the dress is very fitted and so really emphasises the waist. The belt really sets it off. I felt like it accentuated all of my best bits. I wore a sparkly veil and a sparkly crystal tiara on the day, which really complimented the belt also.

The dress looks stunning from both the front and behind as the front has the beautiful silver beaded belt and the back of the dress is covered in really sparkly beads.

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned and it is currently stored in a pretty white cabin box. I also have a Morilee dress bag that the dress can be hung up in.

The dress is a US size 16 and I am a UK size 16. I had the dress altered (see additional notes).

There are some marks along the bottom of the dress from where it brushed the floor. There are also some marks on the underskirt but these wouldn't be seen unless you were lifting the dress up. Some of the stitching on the back of the dress where the beads are has come loose and so would need to be restitched by a seamstress. There is one mark on the front of the dress (no bigger than a thumbprint) around the tummy area where I must have brushed some makeup. It is very small and so may not be noticed unless pointed out. I can send photos of all the marks and beading if required.

Alterations

The length of the dress was shortened to match my height and it was also taken in at the waist. I had some extra padding put into the cups of the bodice to give me a bit more cleavage. My usual cup size is 36c. The straps of the dress were also adjusted as beforehand they kept slipping off my shoulders.
