The Dress

A very striking yet classic wedding dress. I LOVE the cowl draping on the back of it and got so may compliments on it. The veil-like attachment meant I could have flowers in my hair AND a veil sitting on top of the 25" train without the veil ruining my hair.

I felt good in it all day, I had been worried I would feel bloated after the meal but the material is heavy enough that it didn't show and I felt confident in it the whole day and evening. The material is also very soft and comfortable - it was easy to sit in, dance in and going to the toilet was also straightforward! There is boning and cup construction giving good support, and it would also easily fit a chest size bigger than mine (32A). I got recommended to get a 'Bye Bra Invisible High Waist Thong' from EnVie Lingerie so that your pant line is high enough that it doesn't show and they were fab (order one size above your normal size if you do order).

Stocked by Aimee Bridal Couture in Glasgow. I ordered it in September 2023 and it really was the PERFECT dress for my wedding in May 2024. I had it dry cleaned in June 2024 at the highly recommended Broom Dry Cleaners who have done an excellent job. The video is taken post dry cleaning, there are a few very minor marks to the bottom of the dress at the back, I've tried to show them in the video but they really are so minor, it's hard to see them. I would happily have worn it in this condition for my wedding day.

Alterations

Adjusted to my measurements. Length adjusted for my height (168cm) wearing 3-inch heels. Bra cups have been added for coverage/support in the chest area, they have just a few stitches in each so could easily be removed or swapped with a different size. A loop has been added underneath to be able to carry the bottom of the dress easily. A bustle has been added so the dress can clip up in the evening. The veil-like attachment at the back has been made easily removable for the evening.
