The Dress

Beautiful timeless elegant dress made from Mikado silk, giving it a sleek sophisticated look. The dress is also lined with butter soft Satin, making it super comfortable to wear. Features an off the shoulder neckline with a subtle ruffle detail on the left sleeve, and a flattering side spilt on the right side. The back features fabric covered button details, with an invisible zipper closure (& hook and eye in the centre) - making it super easy for putting on and off on your wedding day!

This gorgeous dress was so beautifully made by the team at Maison Oui (Oui the Label) and I couldn’t have asked for a more simple yet elegant dress for my special day. I hope this dress makes another bride feel just as beautiful as I did! If the bride to be is interested I also have the pearl veil for sale, or happy to negotiate.

Dress is dry cleaned and ready to go to for her next event. I am 158cm and wore 8cm heels.

Alterations

The dress has been hemmed to height for someone who is around 157-160cm without shoes. It can be further hemmed if shorter.

An invisible elastic waist band has also been added to just below the bodice to allow the waist band to hold in a bit firmer - this doesn’t need to be used and not visible on the outside. Or if you find the bodice/waist needs to be a bit tighter it can be used easily with the hook & eye on the elastic band.

The side split was also stitched/altered in a tiny bit at the top so it didn’t flare open as much to reveal the leg. I can be unpicked easily via alterations if needed.

Overall minimal changes needed from the original dress.
