The Dress

From the designer: The Luna dress, part of the latest collection from NEWHITE ‘Le Voyage’ is a modern take on the classic pleated NEWHITE tulle. Luna features a strapless bias cut skirt with a-line overlay, illusion back, and symmetrical bow at waistline.

From me: This dress was made in January 2024 and I wore for my wedding in June. It was altered to fit me (see measurements above) and a bustle for both layers of the dress was added. We also added built in cups but those are held in by a few threads and can very easily be removed. For reference, I am 5'4" and wore 4" heels. I typically wear a size 0/XS in dresses, 24/25 in jeans and am a 30C cup. Note that the original size of the dress was an 8 but it was taken in a lot.

As for the wear, I wore it to my ceremony and dinner after. Then it went immediately to the dry cleaner! My original alterations company did the cleaning and fixed one small tear in the skirt that I am happy to send a photo of. It is in the top layer of the tulle, but near the bottom, so may be cut off if this dress is shortened. There is also some very slight wear on the bottom layer of the skirt where it touched the ground that I can send photos of. You really have to be looking for imperfections to notice, I probably would not have if my seamstress hadn't pointed them out.

I loved wearing this dress so much. In particular, I loved the fitted bottom layer (a beautiful thick crepe material that was so comfortable) paired with the beautiful tulle overskirt. The photos really don't do justice to the tulle and the texture that it has. I really hope someone else can wear this and feel as beautiful as I did. Please reach out to me with any questions.

See above description. Taken in at bust, waist and hips. Hemmed for a 5"8' height but still with a lot of overskirt (see photos).
