The Dress

The Alexandra is one of the classic most popular dresses From the Monique Lhullier capsule collection. The Alexandra is very similar to the Fluer Di Lis which is also part of the capsule collection. It is a stunning dress with a super flattering A-line fit. Although the skirt has quite a bit of volume once on, it is light and very easily compressed for packing. It’s the most delicate lace with boning in the top. After spending literally 100s of hours looking at dresses I knew This was my dream dress and I felt so incredibly beautiful in my wedding photos in it and hope someone else can feel the same. As I have a large bust I had silk key holes put in the back so it could be corseted. With those alterations it would fit anywhere from a B cup to a DD. I took these photos in Glacier National park so it did get a bit dirty on the bottom (hence the price ). It’s hardly noticeable as it’s on the silk part underneath the layers of tulle and lace. There are also 2 rips in the bottom of the lace but you would really have to examine it to see them. It’s truly an absolutely stunning dress at a fantastic price. It has been hand washed to get the main dirt off however if I sell it I am happy to have it professionally cleaned or if you’d prefer to have it cleaned yourself I will take $500 off the price 🥰

Alterations

I spent $400 having a corset tie back added to accommodate a larger bust.
