The Dress

I’m sad to be parting with my stunning Suzanne Neville ‘Penny’ wedding dress. Suzanne Neville is an incredible British designer and this is reflected in this beautiful, striking yet traditional dress. I wore this for a few hours during the day of my wedding as I had a separate evening dress. I felt amazing in the dress and received so many compliments, I am only parting with it as I would love for someone else to enjoy the dress rather than see it sat in storage as I’m never going to wear it again.

The dress is a Suzanne Neville size 12 but the top is a corseted bust so would fit a size 8 to 10. The bottom is not fitted so can fit a larger size. The dress is made from mikado silk, has pockets and a slit in the skirt which looks incredible in photographs.

In terms of alterations I had the length taken up as I am 5ft 4 and the slit in the skirt tacked down so it was less open but this could easily be reversed. I also do not have the original belt as I didn’t like the buckle so my seamstress made a plain one for me.

I have had the dress professionally dry cleaned a couple of weeks after the wedding. The dress has come out well apart from one minor mark on the back of the dress by the train which has been reflected in the price. I’d be happy to send photos of this.

Length adjusted, slit reduced, belt changed
