The Dress

Dress is gorgeous and I received nonstop compliments all night long. I wore it for six hours total, then had it dry cleaned the following Monday. It has a warm, deep champagne satin under-color, under the layers of white and champagne tulle. I had a seamstress put in a bustle so that's done. It has an inner corset that has boning in it, but also has stretch to it so it cinched my waist while also holding the dress up. I did not once have to hitch it up around my bosom all night long, it stayed up and was really quite comfortable. The beading details sparkled in the sunlight for the ceremony and then sparkled under the twinkle nights at the reception. I felt like royalty in it. The dress cost $2,200, with about $575 for alterations, plus $155 to have it pressed before the wedding, and then another $250 to have it dry cleaned after the wedding. Alterations

I had it hemmed and I had a bustle put in; the bust was taken in about an inch as well. I weighed 128 when I bought it and it fit off the rack, except needing hemmed. I was a 34 bust at my first fitting, with a 28 waist weighing 128. My second fitting I had lost a little weight, down to 126 with a bust of 33. It fit beautifully and comfortably. A 36 bust would still be a perfectly voluptuous fit.
