The Dress
The beautiful Hendrix dress from Made with Love. Bold, yet classic & elegant. I felt a million dollars in this dress!
It’s made from a gorgeous silky soft French crepe material, with a low V back and V neck front. The neck line is covered with a subtle skin coloured mesh to provide added coverage which I loved. Comfort due to the slightly stretchy material was definitely an added bonus.
I can post the dress or alternatively happy for people to try on and see the dress in person. I live in South East London (Eltham) and my parents live in Sheffield. So could arrange this at either location.
Alterations
Overall alterations were minor but included:
- shortening of the straps and length
- taking in the cups slightly and adding slightly more padding to the cups (easily replaceable as not stitched insight the dress)
- taken in slightly at the waist
For reference I’m 5ft 5, weighed 8st 6 and usually a size 8 on the bottom and size 6 on top (UK).
