The Dress

This dress was everything I had hoped for - light, classic, timeless and beautiful. It is handmade from ivory guipure lace in a classic, fitted bridal silhouette by the wonderful Melbourne based, Australian designer, Anna Campbell. Due to the time of year, I had capped sleeves added to complement the playful lace motifs on the shoulders and create a unique and unexpected detail. The sleeves can easily be removed depending on preference, and there is extra lace if more length is required. The dress also has a matching motif at the tip of the in-built lace train which can be raised up or down for greater flexibility and movement. I found it really easy to bustle the train and attach the silk-covered button at the back so you can glide between the ceremony and celebration afterwards. The neckline is very flattering as is the plunging v-shaped low back which is secure with a zip closure with hook and eye fastening. The lining is made from a double layer of 100% silk and is a dream to wear. I really loved this dress and hope
