The Dress

The Lindsey gown takes a playful approach to a classic silhouette. Cut in our lustrous soft Mikado fabric, she features an exaggerated sweetheart neckline with an elegant twist detail, and a whimsical cutout over a flattering cummerbund waist. A full A line skirt features pockets(!) and buttons to the hem of the chapel length train.

Beautiful Lindsey dress from Jenny Yoo. I bought this sample early in my shopping process as I love the sexy cut with the more formal mikado silk train. It’s great for hourglass figure as after the bust the mikado silk flows out in such a flattering way. It was so dramatic with statement veils - it’s amazing to accessorise.
It’d be really easy to tailor because of the back strap. The train is so beautiful, the stiff mikado gives it more structure to wear than other material dresses which fold, so stays looking like a train!

In the end the dress didn’t suit my final venue and I lost too much weight for the size 12 (UK 16) so I wore another style.
The photos are of me in a US 10 (UK 14) they’ve used a clamp at the back. I thought it was more insightful in terms of the fit on a slightly larger body than the original models. So if you are 1-2 sizes larger than me this dress should fit well. Am happy to try on the actual dress and send you pics, if you’d like to judge size.
