The Dress

I bought this dress second-hand from Still White myself. It has been worn twice now, once by myself and another time by the lovely lady I bought this dress from. Both of us had very happy wedding days in this dress and I would love for it to be worn again. It was made to measure by Jesus Peiro (style 2214) in Valencia in 2022. I felt like a princess wearing this dress, but in a modern and elegant way. It's a romantic dress and I loved the square neckline with the puffed out gigot sleeves. It's simple but also sophisticated and graceful. As soon as I saw the listing on Still White, I knew it was the one.
I loved the puffed three-quarter length sleeves and the button detail on the cuffs. And the buttons at the back are divine.
I'm usually a size 6-8 on top and a size 8 on the hips. For this body shape the dress is perfect. It's not tight on the hips but floats. I didn't need to have the dress altered much when I bought it. I just had it taken in at the sides slightly and cups sewn in so I didn't have to worry about bra straps showing.
I have 3 spare buttons for the dress.
The dress was professionally cleaned by the first owner and again by me, and I was delighted with the result. It has a ribbon on the inside of the skirt so it can be tied up to be made shorted for dancing. There are a few small snags which are only noticeable if you look extremely closely.
The dress is kept in a pet free very clean home.
