The Dress

Selling my gorgeous Chosen by Kyha - Spencer wedding dress after my May wedding in Norway! It's truly such a stunning gown, and it's a shame to have it sit in my wardrobe so I hope another bride is able to wear it on their special day and feel as beautiful as I did.

The dress 'Spencer' is part of the current Kyha collection and currently retails for AUD $4795. The gown features a modern scooped neckline, structured bodice with fluid draping and wrap skirt with a thigh high split. I chose to have a few cross stitches to hide the split during the ceremony and family formals, to then open the split for a second bridal look during the reception. It is currently opened as a high split (see Kyha's website for reference), but you can choose to add some stitches should you wish to achieve a look similar to my pictures. Comes with the original Kyha box and dress bag, I can also throw in a matching cathedral length veil if you'd like it.

I bought the dress in a Kyha size 3 (equivalent to AU 8), however as I lost some weight leading up to the wedding I needed to take in the sides of the corset slightly and hence it would fit someone size AU 6/AU 8. My alterations company has let me know there should be potential to let the gown out a bit should you need more room.

The dress is in near-perfect condition as I swapped to a different dress after the sit-down dinner but has some marks at the bottom of the hemline. However, due to my height I think many brides would trim this off to alter the dress to their height. Alterations

Altered to fit my height (5'9"/175 cm with a 2"/5.5cm heel) and the corset was taken in more closely to an AU size 6 as I lost quite a bit of weight leading up to the wedding. The scoop was taken in slightly and softened on each side to account for my weight loss. I had a hand loop added during alterations to help me hold the train up after the ceremony.
