The Dress

An absolutely beautiful dress from Savin London. Paid £4000 in total with alterations! It’s a beautiful dress and very unique. My guests have all said how different it was and how the ‘lace’ is really special and one of a kind. It is more of an organza fabric with satin underneath. It really suited the Bridgerton vibes I was going for and everyone got the theme of timeless and romantic. It’s really a stunning dress.

I was 7 months post partum from having my little boy so panicked it wouldn’t fit as I was a 14 pre pregnancy and a 16/18 post pregnancy, yet it fit me perfectly in the end. All alterations were due to me being taller and needing the arms to be longer!

Fitting around the chest, lace at the back lowered so that I could dance more, under arm opened up and sewn to come higher as I was too tall, very slight amount taken up at the bottom as I am 5’9 in heels, cups added for bra, bustle added for evening
