The Dress

I had a bit of a change of heart with my wedding dress from @SomethingNEW, so I decided to get a different one. Dress shopping can be a very vulnerable experience, and I had quite the ordeal with this particular dress. It was a sample dress, and I didn't even think to ask about the brand before purchasing it in such a rush. When I got home and looked for the tag, I was surprised to find that there was none. The next day, they told it was a curated dress, although I'm not entirely sure what that means.
There was a lot of pressure during the fitting, with all those clips making the dress look perfect until you take them off to adjust it. The lady even told me there was no way the dress could look as good as it did with the clips. Needless to say, I don't plan on wearing it. Unfortunately, like most bridal stores, there is no return policy. I hope to sell it, but just looking at the dress brings back the memories of that awful dress shopping experience at Something New.
For clarification, the dress was altered to fit me, originally a Size 14 according to the salesperson since it didn't have a tag.
I am open to the best offer. I am 5'3" without heels and 5'6" with heels, with measurements of chest 38, waist 29, and bottom 40. The dress originally cost me $1700, and I have only worn it for trying it on and adjustments.
