The Dress

I'm selling both my wedding gown and blouse together. I got my dress custom made from Hayes Bridal in Herne Bay for my wedding which was the end of March 2024. It is the Jude gown (heavyweight ivory silk crepe de chine) and the Jagger blouse (ivory silk crinkle chiffon).

The dress was the most comfortable gown for the day! Very easy to move and mingle in. It has a bustle up part at the back with a button so the train can be tucked under nicely which was great for the dance floor but it also has a tie if you want the train still out for photos but easy to wrap around your hand. The material was a nice thick material and didn't cling to anywhere on my body nor did it crease or crinkle throughout the day. I wore spanks under the dress and felt super comfortable. It is a gorgeous silk in white ivory. The back of the dress has a tie which can either be tied up together with the blouse if wearing or it can be loosely tied alone. I decided to tie mine into a little bow and then let the rest of the material drape down the dress. The style of the dress is a bias cut gown with a soft v neck. It is a 'heavy weighted' material but feels very lightweight to wear.

I don't have any photos of me wearing the blouse on the day apart from one that was taken from someones phone as seen in the last photo as the photographers had left by the time I wore it. Both the dress and blouse are in immaculate condition. The gown was dry cleaned by Regal dry cleaning- no imperfections or marks on the dress or blouse. If anyone is seriously interested I can provide more photos of the blouse on me from my try ons or otherwise refer to Hayes Bridal website for it pictured on the model to see the back.

Alterations

custom made to fit my body. I am a size 10-12 normally. My bust and hips are a 10-12 however my waist is more a true size 10. I paid an additional $600 when purchasing to have it fitted to my body perfectly.
