The Dress

This dress has ONLY been worn for fittings and has been kept in its original dress bag, therefore it's in immaculate condition.

One reason I chose it was because compared to every other dress I tried on, it felt comfortable and I could move in it. Not one part of it was stiff and restrictive. It made me feel very sexy as it shows off curves, but elegant and classic at the same time. It does wonders for a bum and a waist due to the rouched material on the bottom area, and the embroidery and corset ribs that enhance the waist shape. I've never felt so hourglass as when wearing this dress.

- Because I wanted to be able to wear this dress without a bra, I had soft nude coloured cups sewn into the bust, and thin straps sewn in to the top of the corset. These are both things that could easily be removed without damaging the dress by a seamstress if you wanted to wear it with detachable sleeves, or sleeveless/ strapless.

- The corset is nude with ivory ribbing and embroidery (flowers/ sequins). There's a very minimal satin bow in the middle/bottom of the corset. The bow could also be removed by a seamstress if desired.

- The embroidery comes down to sit attractively over the hips, and then there is further embroidery at the bottom of the hips/ thighs where the dress then flares out. The flare is quite minimal as there is no under- netting that makes it 'poof' however the material can be draped to create a flare for photographs, which further accentuates the hourglass shape.

- The back of the corset has a hidden zip underneath the sewn on station ivory buttons which go all the way down to the bottom of the dress. These are a lovely feature however they also serve a practical purpose as one of the lower buttons has a hooked piece of thread that you can hook onto a button higher up and 'hitch' the length of the train up so that you can walk/ dance/ move around more easily. This is hight adjustable as you can choose to hook it onto any of the buttons.

- The dress is floor length however its shaped to be slightly shorter at the front so that the end of your shoes could peep out from underneath (also you won't trip over it whilst walking), however the train at the back, when let down, can be fanned out behind you and will glide along the floor as you walk down the isle. I chose to keep this train however this could be shortened to preference by a seamstress.

This dress is so, so beautiful and so easy to wear and put on/take off. I really hope to find someone who will love it as much as I did. In the end I decided not to get married, hence why it has only been worn in the dress shop! I can't bear it to go to waste, it deserves to be worn and loved. - To give you an idea of size: My size is about a 10, with parts of me fitting as small as a UK 8, and other parts fitting a UK 12. I have a medium/ small bust and slightly thicker lower half.
