The Dress
Classic but modern. This is A-line, ivory/pinkish hue dress with beautiful lace over the top. The dress has a slit that reveals a little bit of leg when walking. The dress fits incredibly well, and you do not need shapewear or a bra, as one is sewn in. The fit is comfortable but supportive. The top fits brilliantly, and the flair is very flattering. I felt great. This was my first of two dresses, hence the excellent condition.
Alterations
The original dress had a long train and was too long for me. The whole length was bought up to one length to make it more modern. The train was removed because of this. The split had an additional stitch sewn in to make it 3 cm lower. With the fabric removed, I had removable sleeves made and a matching bandana for my dog. I would suggest trialling the sleeves first to see if you enjoy them. I loved the look, but they were slightly annoying, and I think the clips need to be larger.
