SAPPHIRE - FLORES COLLECTION 2020
This was the perfect dress for my big day. It’s design is dramatic with a full skirt, yet simple, elegant and timeless.
The in-built corsetry nips you in at the waist and means there’s no need for a bra, while the flowing ivory Mikado silk skirt falls effortlessly and catches the light at every opportunity. It also has pockets - perfect for helping to lift up the dress when you walk.
Beautiful details include the covered buttons on the back, and well proportioned off-the-shoulder straps. It has additional tulle underskirt skirt that you can remove for a more A-Line silhouette, or keep in for full volume drama.
I took excellent care of it on the day and changed out of it after our first dance, but it has also had the most high standard specialist wedding dress dry clean - making it good as new.
Alterations
Minor alterations made by a fantastic seamstress. Length was taken up (I’m 5”6 and worn a 2 inch heel) and tiny dart on the bust to fit me.
