The Dress

An exquisite one of a kind vintage lace wedding dress.
This stunning A-line dress with its sweetheart neckline, low back silhouette, and sneaky wrap around shoe string straps is the quintessential choice for a timeless classic romantic look. Broad strips of vintage lace are sewn in overlapping layers onto thick white satin to create this unique stunning look. The lace is accented with sparkly beading to add to the romance factor. The dress is full length with the front just an inch or two off the ground while the back is slightly longer and barely kisses the ground.
The dress was altered to fit me like a glove and does have padded sewn in cups in the bust.

BUST: 34” padded
WAIST: 29”
LENGTH SHOULDER TO FLOOR
Front: 58”
Back: 61”
The dress is heavier than would be expected but very comfortable. Dry cleaned.

Alterations

This was a plain strapless dress with a short train. The alterations included creating the sweetheart neckline, low back, and sneaky shoe string straps that hold the dress up. I also did away with the train and had it shortened - an inch or two off the floor in the front and barely touching the ground at the back. The dress was taken in to fit me.
