The Dress

Alexandra Grecco Prisma 100% Silk with Satin finish. Split size 8/8/10 with the waist taken out as much as it would allow (about a half inch).

This dress really catches the light prisms! The satin-finish silk fabric is like liquid— it is out of this world. It is considered white by the designer but to the eye it is a flattering off-white that pairs beautifully with pearls. I added AG buttons in the back and wore it with a second-hand AG signature cathedral veil that I’m happy to place in the box for whoever purchases this dress, so you’ll get that as a bonus too. It makes for fun pictures!

The dress will ship in the Lovely Bride box and AG garment bag it came to me in.

Alterations

For alterations we added Alexandra Grecco silk satin covered buttons to the back. We hemmed the front to 5’10” and added a bustle. As mentioned, waist was taken out a touch, and the straps had to be shortened but they were not cut, so all the extra length is still there. You can see it in the video. We also removed the lining under the train so that when it bustled it was lighter weight and draped beautifully. (Also helpful for the first dance; we did a lift and it worked great!)
