The Dress

This Ivory Silk Satin wedding gown is by Amsale, circa 1994. I am the original purchaser/owner and it was worn 1x at my 1994 wedding. I wanted a classic look that was understated and elegant. I paired this dress with long white gloves for a vintage 1960's inspired look. The sleeveless & fitted bodice is fitted and outlined with very small pearls around the neck, arms, and dropped back. It has a dropped waist and layers of tulle to give a full look to the skirt portion, without being overly so. I'm 5'4 and this gown, with heels, 'just' kisses the floor. The sweep train is perfect - no need to bustle it or worry about tripping over a long train. It was perfect the entire ceremony & dinner reception, along with dancing. My wedding was in Pennsylvania in early October and this dress is perfect for anytime of the year. The veil is included with the purchase.

This gown was professionally cleaned within days of my wedding and archivally boxed for safe storage. Any wrinkles seen can easily be steamed out - this was removed from storage for photos.
