The Dress

C660: Spangled with glittering appliqué, this strapless tool ball gown is a dream come true, complete with detachable statement, sleeves, C660SL.

I am selling my gorgeous Allure Couture wedding dress. It is in the mocha/champagne color, which comes out a beautiful blush undertone that I was looking for on my big day. I am including the detachable sleeves, which add a whole other look to the dress. The dress has seven layers, and the bottom four layers are all bustled together as well as the top three layers bustled together.

She is truly one of a kind, and I think somebody else would love to have this dress on their big day and have their Cinderella moment. It’s a glittery ball gown worth every penny.

She is steamed! But not dry cleaned! The place I took it to be dry cleaned turned me away due to the glitter. Per their words, dry cleaning this dress would remove a lot of the glitter, so I chose to just have the bottom layers steamed. As long as she is handled gently and taking care of, the top layer remaining glittering and sparkling was more important.

Alterations

Dress was altered at Karen Hendrix alterations in Nashville, Tennessee. The main alterations was adjusting the length of the layers so that it did not drag the ground, I wore 3 1/2 inch heels for the ceremony and changed into platform converses that were similar height. The other alterations were adjusting the waist and bra cups to fit tighter around my waist and bust. Bra cups were added, as well as the bustling mentioned above.
