The Dress

A stunning, timeless, and romantic Lihi Hod Shantung silk corseted dress with off the shoulder puff sleeves. The 'Paris' dress is from her 'Dreams' collection. Lihi Hod worked with John Galliano whilst at Dior before launching her own line.

I felt like a star in my own Notting Hill rom-com in this dress! It is light and romantic (perfect for spring/ summer); waist-defining as a result of the amazing corset, and the material...just stunning. 100% shantung silk. It catches the light perfectly, giving just a little shine. The back has buttons and a bow-fastening. The a-line skirt has pockets and a beautiful train. It was really comfy to wear and to move in.

I'm selling the dress, which I wore to my July 2024 wedding, with the matching two-tier cathedral-length ivory veil, also 100% silk, from Browns Bride. Moves like water and was the perfect finishing touch!

It would fit a UK8 or a UK6. I am usually a UK8 and asked for this to be made tight! 32C bust for reference.

The dress and veil have been dry-cleaned with a wedding dress specialist and is in absolutely perfect condition - no signs of wear.

I bought this from Browns Bride in London. It cost £6200, plus the veil £750, and alterations £850.

Alterations

The bodice was nipped in slightly so with the corset it will fit a UK6 or UK8. The seamstress did say it could be let back out though so there's a bit of give.
I had cups put in the bust so I didn't have to wear a bra - these are easily removed.
I have a finger hook put in the train so I could hold up the train without need for a bustle.
I had it hemmed - I am 5'7" and wore 4" heels so will suit anyone 5"11 or under.
