The Dress
The back of this dress was what really drew me to it. The embroidery is beautiful.
I have slightly wider shoulders than hips, so the neckline was perfect for me, drawing your eye in toward my neck rather than accentuating the width of my shoulders.
I have hip dips (!) and never thought I’d go for a dress that followed the line of my hips, thinking I’d prefer an A line, but the material skimmed my shape.
I don’t often wear fitted clothing but this made me feel fabulous. I was so happy with it!
Alterations
The front of the dress was taken up about an inch. I’m 5”9’ and wore converse-style shoes, so no heel.
I had inserts put in the bust area. These are still there but the seamstress who put them in said they’d be easy to unpick.
