The Dress

I want to keep this dress forever and where it over and over again. I'm sad to be letting it go but happy it will be worn again and make another bride feel so special and beautiful on her big day. Watch the video to see her in all her beauty on my day!

From 2024 collection, in pearl white heavy silk satin fabric. I had customised on the bodice to pin the dress to create the ruching appearance. The waist in the corset was taken in 1cm. I didn’t really need this however felt more comfortable. The corset is stretchy so I feel it is lenient with sizing. I wore 3 inch heels and I’m 167cm tall. I did hem the dress however not by much and still wanted it long to drag on the floor.

I just collected the dress from a fine dry cleaner and the condition is good with very minor markings on the bottom as you can see in the images - this wouldn’t be noticeable as it is on the floor. And one small mark on the front (see photo) this could be left or potentially cleaned again or if you are planning alterations have the ruche pinned over and you won’t see it at all (like held in photo).

The corset and neckline are inspired by fashionable high society women of the 18th-century – which sweeps across the shoulders and cinches at the waist. The skirt falls from the hip in a soft slim A-line, folding and flowing delicately to create a drape reminiscent of ancient Greek statues.
