The Dress - Jane Hill (TOBIE)
I bought this dress from Halo & Wren, Hemel Hempstead. I tried a lot of dresses on but instantly loved this dress. I have sensitive skin so the beautiful structured crape material was perfect for me! Its classic design made me feel so elegant and sleek. The low V at the back leads the eye to the button detail down the back of the dress giving it a bit of extra style and sophistication.

The 'Tobie' is a classic trumpet-style dress, with v-neck straps. I had the dress made without the original mesh paneling down the sides (you may have seen this on other images of the Tobie dress). Instead, the crape fits all the way around the bust / under arm area. The Jane Hill Tobie dress is extremely comfortable as well as flattering - it hugs the body in all the right places before flaring out gracefully between the hips and knees. It is very easy to move and dance in!

The dress is in excellent condition, having been carefully dry cleaned and stored away post-wedding.

I am 5’7 and wore a 3inch heal. I usually wear a UK 8 or 10 clothing and I wear a 32C bra.

Alterations

I had the dress made without the original mesh paneling down the sides (you may have seen this on other images of the Tobie dress). Instead, the crape fits all the way around the bust / under arm area.

I had a few alterations around the bust area as when it arrived it was slightly to big around the bust - I am a 32C.
