The Dress
Neta Dover's Elsie is a stunning beaded lace A-line wedding dress that was the dress of my dreams. It sparkled in candlelight at my reception and swished around like magic when I danced. I felt like an ethereal fairy, but in an understated way!
Because the back is a corset, I wasn't too worried about gaining or losing weight leading up to my wedding (it's way more forgiving than buttons or a zipper).
Alterations
Snaps were added in the corners of the bodice so the off-the-shoulder sleeves could fit tighter if I wanted them to. There is a teeny bow at the waist that I had them sew down so it doesn't pop up (this is easily undone). The dress originally comes with a high slit, and I had them close the slit completely. I had them add a bustle (and can send a video with bustle directions).
