The Dress

This was the perfect dress for me! I was looking for an A-line, modern and floral inspired dress, that felt really simple and elegant. I hope this dress can check as many boxes for you as it did for me! I love this dress for the design, texture and how it felt really timeless while still having a bit of whimsy to it. I altered it to have cap sleeves (included) so that I could wear that for the religious ceremony and remove them for the reception for a more relaxed feel. With the right supportive undergarments, it's a really comfortable dress and moves really beautifully.

Fit of the dress: I'm currently a size 12 (really between a 10/12) and the dress fits me slightly loosely. There is an elastic support band inside the dress, that could have extra hooks added to make it tighter, if need be. There is not a built in bra, so I would suggest wearing a strapless bra or bra + corset for extra support, especially if busty. I am a 38 D and did feel like I was spilling out of the dress a little on the day of my wedding, because I wore it with no bra or support. Otherwise the dress is very comfortable and relatively easy to move in. The fabric is a little heavier, so if you like to feel the weight of your clothes (like I did) you'll enjoy wearing this dress. I was able to walk, dance, sit and generally move around freely in the dress (I just took up a bit of space!). I had also purchased the hoop skirt to give the skirt a fuller look, but it is much easier to navigate the dress without the hoop skirt.

As for the condition of the dress: The hem of the dress has normal wear and tear - some pilling/pulling of the fabric and some light staining where the dress directly touches the floor. One of the cap sleeves is missing their snap button (both on the dress and the sleeve). The neckline of the dress has some very light discoloration from handling (pulling up the dress) and possibly makeup. It's not overly noticeable or dark, and should come out with a proper dry clean. The dress has wrinkles from being in a garment bag for three years. I would have loved to had the dress cleaned right after the wedding, but my health and finances kept me from doing so.
