The Dress

Oleg Cassini- Cleaned and boxed (unopened) professionally by Memories Gown Preservation. Given the slip that says it is in good condition(shown in pictures). Purchased from David’s bridal and worn in 2018. (Happily married still but we will be moving and needed to make some tough decisions.) Out of stock at David’s Bridal and no longer available according to their website.

-COLOR Ivory, cream, pink undertones
-DETAIL 2,600 beads give or take. Delicate lace and scalloped trim.
-SLEEVES. I had 3/4 sleeved added at alterations but they could easily be removed and once again worn as sleeveless sweetheart neck if desired. The sleeves are attached on the inside so no seams show from the outside.
-SKIRT The dress has many beautiful layers of tulle. It is a floor length Ballgown. One layer has a pink undertone that show’s beautifully and subtly in certain lighting. The top layer is lace with delicate beading and tiny crystals. The edging is a gorgeous scalloped lace trim.
-BUSTLE I have no pictures of this BUT it has the most beautiful bustle WHEN BUSTLED CORRECTLY. At my wedding (in the photos) my friend accidentally bustled it wrong and no one caught it so the photos do not accurately show the correct bustling.
-TRAIN small train, not excessive. I do not have a photo from my wedding but hopefully the model photos will give you an idea
-NECKLINE sweet heart neck line with a slight corset look in the front.
-BACK fully lined, low back line with zipper and faux silk covered buttons up the back.
-VEIL I hated my veil personally but it’s in the box so it’s yours to either use or toss.
-DANCING I danced in the dress easy enough but it would have been much easier had it been bustled properly.
-BATHROOM USE Because of the ballgown cut, my sister helped me use the restroom. I sat backwards in the toilet seat. No issues at all.

Alterations

3/4 sleeves added for me but easily could be removed with a seam ripper. The seam is on the inside of the dress so there would be no effect to the outside. Added bustle ties.
